As the captain of the team, I am pleased to introduce my team members to the rest of the players of FUMAS. I gladly start the ice-breaking with the introduction of the man who has made FUMAS and all other MASAT sporting events possible, Ooi Eu Jin aka ELMO.
Sharing the responsibility in defense with another team member, Elmo is not afraid of venturing forward when having possession. His long-range efforts are unstoppable, on the pitch and also in FIFA10. His comparison to Paul Scholes is not only based on his finger-skills with the controller, but also based on his capability of pulling a shot out of nowhere as we have witnessed on Gameday 1 when his right-foot strike almost ripped apart the goal net.
Despite such striking ability and attacking mind, Elmo is a professional defender by position. He fears no man. Tackling attackers with perfect timing, winning headers and pin-point clearance are his main advantages and the reason why he is one of the top defenders in FUMAS.
Growing up as a Man Utd fan and pursuing his career in Busuk FC as a defender strengthens his comparison to Rio Ferdinand or even better since his shooting accuracy is much higher than the England captain. We would like to advice our opponents to train more in order to get past this machine, and for the supporters, prepare to go 'WOW' with his thunderbolt strikes!!
Bottom line: Elmo - Oriental Ferdinand with Scholes' Boots.
